Team Development
What makes a team "High Performance"?
Firstly, ask yourself what makes a team? A group of talented individuals doesn't automatically qualify. A true team is more effective and gets better business results...
Helping an International Team to Achieve Results
The Situation:
A senior team of Supply Chain managers, based across Europe, Middle East and Africa and comprising 12 different cultures. Needed to build working relationships to encourage collaboration on strategic cross-country projects and sharing of best practice, and improve communication and influencing skills, personal impact and stakeholder management.
The Approach:
We provided a series of Team Workshops focused on bringing the team together and helping them to achieve even better results.
- Personality Profiling (Insights Discovery)
- Awareness of Cultural Differences
- Creativity and Innovation
- Problem solving
- Communication and Personal Impact
The workshops included working on 'real life' problems and projects where the team could benefit from each others' experience and expertise.
The Results:
- Improved relationships
- Greater awareness and sensitivity of cultural and behavioural preferences across the team
- Increased collaboration and sharing of best practice resulting in strategic improvements and cost-savings in regional and local supply chain processes.
- Evidence of improved communication and presentation skills
